Brandon Kovacs’ interest in the trades began when he was in a woodshop in 7th grade at Voorhees Middle School. His passion for the industry grew and he was named Shop Foreman in his Junior and Senior years at Eastern High School. It was there that he got his first taste of running a crew of “journeyman tradesmen” and he found that he loved it. It came as no surprise when The South Jersey Builders League awarded him a tradesman scholarship.
After working for several construction companies in South Jersey, one of which was strictly siding and roofing and the other a residential remodeling company, he found that the craftsmanship and quality of materials, while “acceptable” in the industry, were lacking from his high-quality standards and levels of expertise. Therefore, he made the determination that, by starting his own company, he would have complete control of the quality of the materials and the industry talents of his team.
In 2006, Brandon began his journey as the owner of American Custom Construction. His business grew by sharing his expertise during his interactions with prospects, learning what they needed, creating trust in his industry knowledge, and having them become his customers. The quality craftsmanship, superior job results, and completing the project in a timely manner led to repeat clients and one referral after another and another…..
While American Custom Construction has been in business for 16 years, Brandon felt that he could better serve his clients by differentiating the two separate areas of his business. Thus in 2020, ACC Roofing and Siding, LLC was founded as the sister company of American Custom Construction. While siding and roofing on additions is part of their expertise (has been done over all the years), it just made sense to separate remodeling from roofing and siding.
Brandon is married to his high school sweetheart. They have a daughter and a son. He loves helping others, boating/fishing, snowboarding, skiing, ATVs, motorcycles, and dirt bikes.
